Remove cord from electrical outlet.
Turn cleaner over. Remove bottom plate by releasing clips.
Place screwdriver in groove agitator housing and lift out agitator.Remove old belt.
2 Pack, Hoover Agitator Vacuum Replacement Belt, Fits Hoover Concept One & Concept Two Upright Cleaners, Part #38528008.
Place one end of the new belt over motor shaft. Slip other end around plastic pulley end of the agitator. Lettering on belt should be visible.To replace agitator, use screwdriver as a lever to guide the agitator into position. Guide the side opposite the belt into position first. Press to secure. Replace bottom plate in hinge like motion. Lift and snap retaining clips into place.
