Made with a heavy brass face plate, rivited to a steel wheel housing. The brass machine-turned sash pulleywheel rotates around a sealed precision ball-bearing. A 5/16" hollow end rivit secures the pulleywheel assembly to the housing. An economical and high quality alternative to our cast pulley.Whichever sash you need to work on the weights will be behind the weight cover, which you will need to remove. This should just pull out.Locate the broken cord and remove the nails that secure it to the groove in the side of the sash after pulling its weight through the weight box. This solid brass sash pulley is designed for new or retrofit applications. With a sealed ball bearing, it will accommodate #10 sash cord or #45 sash chain.It's offered in polished brass (lacquered or unlacquered), oil rubbed bronze, satin nickel or polished nickel.

This is the finest cast sash pulley made anywhere! The Harwick pulley is sand cast in architectural bronze (SAE 40/C83600/CDA836), and features a removeable stepped bushing to provide for custom finishing. The pulley wheel rotates around a precision sealed ball-bearing. 1/4" threaded stainless shaft. Tested by an independent test lab for tensile strength above 7000 pounds! Working load 1300 lbs. Also available in Architectural Brass or custom alloys/finishes by special order. Use a sharp chisel and prise of the outer stop bead. It is sometimes an idea to run along the joint with a Stanley knife before you start with the chisel. This will sometimes save chips of paint coming off. When both stop beads are off, the inner sash can be lifted out of the frame. Be careful they are heavy. If it is this sash that the cord is broken on then you can probably leave the top in place. If not, prise out the parting bead with the chisel and this will free the top sash.
