Fafnir RAO heavy type pillow blocks meet the need for a compact, economical, heavy duty ball bearing housed unit. Designed to incorporate the tested and proven features of the Fafnir standard RAK series pillow blocks, the RAO series is equipped with heavy series GN-KRRB wide inner ring ball bearings for greater load capacity, and the LAO series is equipped with heavy series GN-KLLB wide inner ring bearings.
All units are supplied with a self-locking collar which eliminates shaft shoulders, machining adaptors, sleeves, and locknuts and provides easy mounting
The pillow blocks are self-aligning at mounting with the spherical outside diameter of the bearing fitting into a corresponding spherical housing seat. These units are pre-lubricated and ready for immediate installation. A grease fitting provides for re-lubrication if required. Self-locking collars are supplied with all units. The RAK pillow block is equipped with G-KRRB (R-seal) wide inner ring bearings.

Fafnir RCSM and RCR super-quiet, synthetic conductive rubber cylindrical cartridges are designed for domestic heating, air conditioning, ventilating equipment and many other applications where low-cost, light-duty, and noiseless operation is essential.
All units are available with the RA-RRB extended inner ring bearings with positive contact land-riding seals and self-locking collar. An initial supply of long-life grease is provided in the one-piece, non-re-lubricated cartridges made of high-grade, durable molded synthetic rubber.
The Fafnir patented CR unit was specifically designed to accommodate the wide tolerances of either a hot or cold rolled #10 gage (.134"), 3-1/2" O.D., electric resistance welded mechanical tubing, such as that found in post office conveyor systems.
