AEM's under drive alternator pulley spins the alternator a little slower to free up some additional horse power to the wheels. The pulley is made from hardened aluminum and is available in red, blue or clear anodized finish. Install requires removal and reinstall of the alternator, expect to take about 2-3 hours if you do it your self. A longer aalternator belt and instructions are included in every kit. The AEM pulley kit leaves the stock crankshaft torsional vibration damper so there are no worries about crankshaft bearing reliability like with an under drive crank pulley.
